SENIOR GEOLOGIST
Overview
Stafford Larsen made a smooth transition into his role as a Senior Geologist when he rejoined the RGI team back in 2025. Mr. Larsen had previously been employed as a Geologist at RGI from 2010 through 2022. During his tenure, Mr. Larsen has managed and helped lead a diverse range of environmental projects including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, remediation utilizing underground injections, underground storage tank removals, and vapor intrusion mitigation. Mr. Larsen has worked closely with multiple regulatory agencies to ensure compliance while working towards regulatory closures.
Mr. Larsen specializes in the subsurface investigation and characterization of sites prior to, during, and after remediation events. Mr. Larsen has extensive experience working with the Washington Department of Ecology Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Mr. Larsen’s extensive knowledge and experience have helped RGI clients assess and remediate their properties in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
