ENVIRONMENTAL STAFF
Overview
Kylie Teng joined RGI’s environmental team in December 2024 and has been active in the field since. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Seattle University, where she developed a strong foundation in environmental policy, sustainability, and regulatory systems. Prior to joining RGI, she worked in the construction industry as a Project Assistant, where she gained valuable experience supporting complex, deadline-driven projects and collaborating across multiple teams. Since joining RGI, her work has centered around conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s) as well performing the soil and groundwater sampling needed in Phase II subsurface investigations. She continues to expand her knowledge and experience in overseeing projects related to remediation, long-term monitoring, and technical report writing.
Technical Experience
Ms. Teng’s experience includes conducting site walks, performing historical research, compiling technical reports, decommissioning monitoring wells, overseeing remedial excavations, assisting with field sampling activities (i.e. soil and groundwater collections), and performing Pilot Infiltration Tests (PIT). She continues to expand her technical skills through hands-on field training and project-based mentorship.
Ms. Teng currently focuses her efforts on environmental due diligence and early-stage site characterization. Her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn make her a valuable contributor to RGI’s environmental project teams.
