Professional Profile
Mr. Emerson joined RGI’s environmental team in 2023. He currently works as a Senior Environmental Staff member who focuses on Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Subsurface Investigations involving groundwater and soil sampling. Mr. Emerson is the lead environmental field staff who oversees the decommissioning and removal of residential and commercial USTs, along with any remediation work needed.

Technical Experience
Mr. Emerson has spent the last few years supporting RGI’s environmental project managers in completing both Phase I and Phase II ESAs. He has conducted an array of soil and groundwater samplings across numerous sites throughout Washington state- familiarizing himself with various methods of drilling and probes. Mr. Emerson plays an active role in the preparation and execution of Phase I and Phase II reports, as well as UST Site Assessments. In addition to taking on more complicated projects, Emerson has helped train new environmental field team members and oversees equipment management for RGI’s environmental department.
