Professional Profile
Dawson Miller has provided geotechnical field services throughout Washington State for five years. During his time at Central Washington University, Dawson completed his Bachelor of Science in Geology. Since graduating in 2022, he has provided subsurface exploration, construction monitoring, and lab services for a variety of projects. Dawson is a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) and has received his Geologist-in-Training license (GIT). Dawson’s proactive approach to mitigating problems as they arise in the field helps ensure his projects remain on schedule and within budget- delivering the highest quality results to our clients.

Technical Experience
Mr. Miller joined the RGI team in 2023 and has provided RGI’s clients with a wide range of geotechnical engineering services and has worked on a variety of sites, ranging from wetlands to mountain peaks. Dawson has experience with structural and backfill testing, utility installations, subgrade preparations, mechanically stabilized Earth walls, tie-back walls, soil nail walls, and pin pile installations. He also has experience in identifying and categorizing natural hazards including landslides and flood zones. Dawson supports RGI’s project managers by conducting historic site research, site reconnaissance, report preparation, documentation, and lab testing.
