Project Description

The Site consists of two contiguous tax parcels and is approximately 1.45 acres in size and is developed with two retail buildings. Prior to 1946, the Site was undeveloped, moderately vegetated land. The existing building located on the eastern portion of the Site (herein referred to as Building One) was constructed in 1946. From 1946 to at least the early 1960s, Building One was utilized as an automotive repair garage and sales facility with gasoline fueling services. During the 1970s to 2000s, various commercial businesses occupied Building One including an auto dealer from at least 1980-1985. At the time of reconnaissance, Building One was occupied by Aaron Brothers Art and Framing.

The building on the western portion of the Site (herein referred to as Building Two) was constructed in 1953. During the 1950s to 1970s, Building Two was utilized by various commercial businesses, including but not limited to Puget Power, McCall Oil Fuel, a blueprinting company, and a photographic developing company. During this same time period, refueling of Puget Power fleet vehicles may have occurred. From the 1980s to the 2000s, various commercial businesses occupied Building One including but not limited to a dry cleaning facility that may have been a tenant since as early as 1987. At the time of reconnaissance, Building Two was occupied by The King and I Thai Cuisine, Ultra Custom Cleaners, and Pet Pros.
