Senior to Mid-Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist

The ideal candidate will have seven plus years environmental/remediation experience within the commercial and residential development arenas within the greater Seattle area. This individual must be a self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of managing several projects simultaneously from start to finish.   • Management (with principal level-support) of environmental projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater characterization, risk assessment, cost recovery, and HAZMAT building surveys
  • Aid with large scale remediation projects for cleanup of contaminated soils and groundwater.  This includes performing field work and oversight, sampling, and data review, and report preparation
  • Oversee project related field staff and subcontractors
  • Effectively manage project budgets
  • Development and submission of proposals for incoming project requests
  • Aid in business development efforts for new and existing opportunities


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science/Engineering
  • Technical license in geology, hydrogeology, engineering geology, and/or engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with clients effectively
  • Ability to manage mid and junior level staff
  • Have existing client contacts
  • Clear and concise writing skills
  • Experienced in managing multifaceted projects
